The US flag, according to national treasure Mark Twain, who, as our country’s loudest 19th century anti-imperialist, insisted we wear our slaughter on our sleeve. This is the actual flag he proposed we don, and said to be brave enough to show our country for what it is: A collection of fevered white conquistadors painting the world red with black blood. Happy Flag day to Lincoln, Roosevelt, Wilson, white supremacists all, making the world in their image. What a difference 120 years makes!
