The growing pain of adding a new bookshelf is obviously not having enough books to traditionally fill it. What you can do, though, is add a little home style curation. My books pretty much come exclusively vacuum-sealed to my front door courtesy of amazon, but what I've started to notice only recently is that amazon can’t curate. It recommends books based on what you've read or what you're searching for, but nothing quite beats coming across a title you otherwise wouldn't have if a bookstore curator hadn't put it on display. So to fill up a little extra space while simultaneously flexing on my favorite reads, check out how I'd curate my bookstore. Featured books, left to right, top to bottom, include:

David Sedaris's The Best of Me
Kevin Dutton's The Wisdom of Psychopaths
Robert Wright's The Evolution of God
Bruce Schneier's Click Here to Kill Everybody
Rutger Bregman's Humankind: A Hopeful History
Pierce Brown's Dark Age
Anjali Sachdeva's All the Names They Used for God
Jennifer Egan's A Visit from the Goon Squad
Blake Crouch's Recursion
Patrick Rothfuss's The Name of the Wind
Chuck Palahniuk's Adjustment Day
Sam Lipsyte's Hark
Nicholas Eames's Kings of the Wyld
Christopher Paolini's Inheritance
Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five
Neil Gaiman's American Gods
Stephen King's Wizard and Glass
Andrew Sean Greer's Less
Thomas Harris's Red Dragon
N. K. Jemisin's The City We Became
